Being a host/producer for Huffington Post’s new internet streaming channel Huff Post Live is so rewarding – I get to give voices to individuals who frequently aren’t heard, on subjects often ignored by mainstream media outlets. We aren’t doing interviews – we are having conversations that matter, or are fun, or both! Here is a sampling of some of my segments – while we hosts don’t have our own ‘shows’ per se, you can find me at live.huffingtonpost.com a few times daily live from 10am-10pm EST Monday-Friday, and in reruns and on demand videos any other time.

Getting Out of the Rug Rat Race! (9/11/12)
Stuffing lots of info into a child’s brain doesn’t affect life success as much as well-developed character. How can we shift school and parent mindsets to reflect that?
The Weight of Motherhood (9/7/12)
Celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson made news by criticizing new mothers who “let their bodies go”. But does she have a point? When is having a baby no longer an excuse?
Babies On Planes! (9/10/12)
The skies aren’t always friendly with screaming kids. Should parents be expected to placate fellow passengers? Or do airlines need to make a special kid-friendly spot?
